The short version
Putter & Tweed is a website that explains golf clothing. You can read it without an account. We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, ads or tracking pixels, and we do not sell or share personal data.
What our server records
Like every web server, ours keeps a standard access log: the IP address, the page asked for, the time, the referring page and the browser's user agent. We use it to keep the site running, to stop abuse and to count visits in aggregate. Logs are deleted after 14 days. They are not shared with anyone.
Links to shops and other sites
Some pages link to retailers, and some of those links may earn us a commission. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies, and it may set its own cookies.
Our social media tools
We publish our own posts to our own accounts on Pinterest and other networks with a small in-house tool. It acts only on our own accounts: it creates posts that link back to this site and reads our own boards to choose where they go. A person approves every post before it goes out. It does not access, collect or store data about any other user. The access tokens the networks issue to it are stored on our own server, are never shared, and can be revoked at any time from the network's settings.
Children
The site is not aimed at children and knowingly collects nothing from anyone.
Questions or deletion requests
To ask about this policy or to ask us to delete anything we hold about you, including anything our social media tools received when you connected them, message Putter & Tweed on any of our profiles (Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook), linked at the foot of every page.
